The Sin and Grace Wine and Cheese Club (SAGWAC)
This group will resume on Tuesday, May 11th.  We will pick up with Chapter 7.

The SAGWAC will inaugurate a series of adult discussions of our human thrashings within the strong arms of God's grace. Like an unruly child in a tantrum, we sinful saints rely upon a loving God who will not let us go.

Beginning with the gospel understood by Lutherans as justification by God's grace through faith, we will explore our own sinful propensities within the security of God's gift of salvation.

Our SAGWAC discussions will draw from weekly readings in Pastor Ted's book, Sin Boldly! Justifying Faith for Fragile and Broken Souls. The Holy Spirit, believe it or not, can empower us to move from fragility or even brokenness to a robust spiritual daily life.

In preparation for each Tuesday gathering, please do two things. First, read the chapter appointed for the day. Second, bring something for nibblers to share: wine? Perrier? iced tea? cheese 'n'  crackers? KFC? Be creative.

Please acquire the book on your own or request a copy from Kim Burns. Sin Boldly! Justifying Faith for Fragile and Broken Souls. Fortress, 2015. Available in both paperback and eBook from Augsburg Fortress.
